Guys Lit Wire is a new website/blog dedicated to helping teenage guys find interesting books. The site has been in the works for several months, and officially launched this weekend. Colleen Mondor from Chasing Ray is the primary organizer, while Sarah Stevenson (a. fortis) from Finding Wonderland is the artist behind the site's design (including the very cool logo). There are 23 regular contributors, who will each be posting once a month, in addition to other occasional contributors. This variety of participants promises to keep the site fresh and relevant. You can read more about the project's start here (at Chasing Ray) and here (at Finding Wonderland).
Initial offerings include a post about the way that Philip Pullman's father's death infuses everything he writes, a review of a book about the hell of a soldier's fight from a segregated labor battalion in World War II, and nostalgic review by Alex Bledsoe of The Land that Time Forgot, by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Other exciting content is on the way.
If you know a teenage guy, or anyone who has an inner teenage guy (as a. fortis suggested), do send them over to Guys Lit Wire. Although very different in format (with daily posts instead of monthly issues, and no MySpace presence), this site provides a nice counterpoint to Readergirlz.

Thanks for the props! What a great shout-out--I think the site really came together in an amazing way, thanks to Colleen.

Oh, I think it's thanks to you, too, Sarah! And to the rest of the team. I think it's going to be an amazing resource.
