Kronos’s army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan’s power only grows. While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. See my interview with Rick here. I'm really looking forward to the book! Anyone else out there excited for this?

So excited I might explode. Thanks for the cover, Jen!

Excited, but sad. I know there's a lot of comparison between Riordan's books & the Harry Potter ones (not on content, but on popularity), but this feels different to me than when Book 7 of HP came out. Then there was so much about what would happen, how the series would end. With this I just feel like, Only 5? Really, Rick? I want more. :)

You are very welcome, Melissa.
And Becky, there are going to be more books set in the same world, but they're going to feature different characters. I've seen Rick write about the need for dramatic arcs, and how he never wanted to carry the one story and set of characters for too long. But I think he's already working on the next series, and I'll bet there will be glimpses of what happened afterwards to our current friends in the new books.
See you at the local signing (I would imagine there will be something).
