Introducing KidLitosphere Central

Kidlitosphere_buttonI'm pleased to announce the launch of a new collaborative resource for the children's and young adult book blogger community. KidLitosphere Central is brought to you by the one and only Pam Coughlan, aka MotherReader, with some help from Elizabeth Burns, Kelly Herold, Anne Levy, and me. Here's the site's mission statement:

"KidLitosphere Central strives to provide a passage to the wonderful variety of resources available from the society of bloggers in children's and young adult literature."

The idea is to create a single site containing information about the children's and young adult book blogging community, from Poetry Friday schedules to news to Cybils information to lists of blogs. Right now the site is still being refined, but it's up and we're seeking community feedback. The idea, as explained by Pam, is that:

"... together we’ll make KidLitosphere Central a resource that is invaluable, polished, and dynamic."

You can read more details in Pam's announcement, or you can just click through to check out the site. I think that Pam did an amazing job with this (in a stunningly short period of time). Our hope is that Kidlitosphere Central will be a resource for anyone looking for more information about this wonderful place that we call the Kidlitosphere. We welcome your feedback.
