I love the Araminta Spookie books.
For a while I was in a serious male protagonist slump. It's over. I have been reading some great books with male leads.

Right now I am reading and loving Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey

Glad you're finding some good male leads, Doret. Monstrumologist is on my list. I liked the Alfred Kropp books, and this ones sounds like an improvement over those.
