Here are highlights from the links that I shared on Twitter this week @JensBookPage. I had a rather challenging week, and my Twitter time was very limited. I did live-tweet the Cybils judge announcements, but have not shared those here. You can find the panel announcements as well as the category descriptions on the Cybils blog. Cybil nominations open Sunday, October 1st. Nominate your favorite (well-written and kid-friendly) children's and young adult titles by category.
I also shared a few KidLitCon-related reminders this week. Here's the gist:
- The excellent conference rate for the KidLitCon hotel (Hershey Lodge) expires on October 5th;
- The conference program is excellent; and
- You should register for KidLitCon now.
Other topics this week include: #BannedBooksWeek, #BookList, #Cybils, #DiverseBooks, #GrowthMindset, #KidLitCon, #STEM, eBooks, emotional labor, gender equity, growing bookworms, parenting, reading community, and schools.
