Sunday Afternoon Visits: Newsletters, Poetry, and RIF
February 17, 2008
This post will be a bit shorter than usual, since I published a visits post on Wednesday, but I have run across a couple of things since then.
- Over at A Year of Reading, Mary Lee has put together a chant/poem consisting of the names of various blogs from the Kidlitosphere. It is fun stuff!
- A bit more information about the RIF situation: Anne-Marie Nichols at the all-new My Readable Feast has links to ways to tell your friends online about your support for RIF at MySpace, FaceBook, and YouTube. You can also click this link to stay abreast of other ways to get involved in support of RIF.
- Terry from The Reading Tub has just published the Winter 2008 edition of her newsletter, The Wash Rag. She was kind enough to recommend my Growing Bookworms newsletter to her readers, and she also has lots of other great resources available, like an author showcase.
- The Horn Book Magazine is launching a new monthly newsletter called Notes from the Horn Book. You can find more information, and a link to subscribe, at Read Roger.
And that's all for today. Hope that you all (in the US, at least) have Presidents Day off tomorrow, and are enjoying a restful three-day weekend.
